2 Chronicles 20: 7 and 21-22
17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’
21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.” 22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
Above verses were messages of God to Jehoshaphat when they were about to face a battle with the vast armies of Amon, Moab and Seir. They seek the Lord’s help and asked God what to do. God answered them in the above verses.
I was asking the Lord about my heart’s desire. I have been waiting for such a long time. I asked Him some signs. Asking signs from the Lord for your question is fine with Him. The above messages was what I got.
When we ask something in prayer, we must focus and look forward to it. We must not wave on it, because sometimes when we experience that we think it’s almost impossible for our wish to come true, we tend to be discouraged. So, just have the faith that it will come true and we just need to sit down and do nothing, because God will show us the way through the help of the Holy Spirit who will guide us what to do. You see before they went to the fight or on their way to the battle, they were singing songs of Praise and have done fasting, too. That’s what we also need to do, Praise Him in prayers and songs and did fast which glorify the Lord, our God.
Jeremiah 33:33 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
One good verses from Book of Jeremiah. If you call on God, search and seek Him, you will find Him and will get to know Him and will provide you things that you do not know. This was very true to me.
